Top Foods To Help Prevent Cancer

Some foods can help keep you from getting cancer (but a cheesburger isn't one of them). Check out this list before you head out to the supermarket.

Brazil Nuts One or two medium nuts daily
Citrus (oranges, grapefruit, etc.) Daily
Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, etc.) Three servings per week
Fish (especially sardines, mackerel, tuna) Two to four servings per week
Flaxseed (ground) 2 T. daily
Legumes (kidney beans, nuts, etc.) Three to four servings per week
Soy One to two servings daily (three to four a week if you have estrogen-dependent breast cancer)
Tea (green, black, white, oolong) Two to three cups daily
Tomatoes (choose cooked instead of raw sometimes) Four or more servings per week
Whole Grains (whole-wheat bread and bran cereal) Three servings daily
Yogurt (low fat with active cultures) One serving daily
