Snacks Reveal Your Personality

|
Recent research conducted at the Smell and Taste Treatment Center in Chicago has shown that the type of munchies you prefer seem to be a reflection of your personality.
Dr. Alan Hirsch, neurological director at the center, and a research team studied 800 volunteers’ snack preferences. After choosing their favorite snack food, they filled out a personality test. The results showed that 95 percent of the time, those who preferred one type of snack food had the same personality traits as the other people who chose the same snack food. Give it a try! |

| |
Cheese curls: You are trustworthy and conscientious, and spirituality plays a big role in your life. You are more concerned with being a good sport than winning. |
| |
Crackers: You are more introverted and tend to be a worrier. Although you are very practical and logical, you’re also a daydreamer. |
| |
Meat snacks: You are outgoing and social, the life of the party, and loyal to your friends. |
| |
Nuts: You are empathetic and understanding, as well as calm and sensible. |
| |
Popcorn: You’re a take-charge kind of person, but you’re quiet about it—modest, not an egotist. |
| |
Potato chips: You are ambitious and competitive. Taking that a step further, researchers concluded that you really think only the best is good enough for you and your family. They also concluded you were just competitive enough to get it for them. |
| |
Pretzels: You are with the “in crowd”. You’re lively, upbeat, interested in the latest fashions and trends, a flirt, and you can’t turn down a last-minute invitation. |
| |
Tortilla chips: You are a perfectionist who plans ahead. That means you tend to take charge and micromanage. This can apply to everything from office projects to personal finances to your kids and their homework. |
